The CAIR™ System consists of a Cabin Humidification System to
increase humidity in the aircraft cabin to increase the cabin RH to a pleasant level to about 25%. To preventcondensation on the aircraft structure the system also includes a dehumidification system, the
Zonal Drying™ system. Air is drawn in from the crown through Zonal Dryersand due to a sorption process the water content in the air is reduced and extremely dry air is produced. The dry air is routed via piccolo ducting system to sensitive areas that need to be protected from fuselage condensation.
The Humidification System includes the following equipment and components:
Evaporation Unit
Control Unit
Configuration Modul
Control Interface Panel
Cabin Monitor Panel
Control Panel
